The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, is dedicated to providing quality Rehabilitation, Research, Education and Clinical Healthcare. UM REACH has recently been established to allow us to achieve the goals we have set forth.

UM REACH strives to accomplish the following goals:

1. Supplemental funding for education and training of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents(PM&R), medical students, and visiting faculty.
2. Seed money and funding to create and produce original research that furthers knowledge in the field of PM&R.
3. Allow for physicians within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine to avail themselves of and apply the most advanced treatments in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
4. Grow into the top department of Medicine in the Southeast region and one of the top departments in the United States.
